Storage
Do not store outside—your power chair or scooter needs to be in a warm dry place in between 50-80 degrees Fahrenheit.
When storing for more than a month:
- Make sure the batteries are fully charged (8-14 hours).
- Remove batteries from unit (see: How do I store batteries?)
- To prevent the wheels from flattening or deteriorating, keep the unit off of the direct ground, by prop the power wheelchair or scooter on a crate or anything that will hold the weight

Outdoor Use
Manufacturers recommend limited outdoor use for power chairs since these units are primarily built for gentle use for indoors. Mobility scooters work best on flat, level surfaces indoors or outdoors. Do not operate your power chair or scooter in or around water.
Avoid steep inclines. Any attempt to climb or descend a slope steeper than 6° (10.5%) may put your power chair in an unstable position and cause it to tip as well as place unnecessary strain on the motors.
