Meet Teresa!

Hi, my name is Terry Jackson and I am your local Healthcare Relations Consultant for The SCOOTER Store in and around San Antonio and the Texas Hill Country. Prior to working at The SCOOTER Store, I was a Program Manager of group homes for people with disabilities. I also worked as an educator, a health coordinator within a hospital system as well as a director of a senior day care program. I absolutely love working directly with seniors and healthcare practitioners helping them understand how a power chair or scooter could change lives.

My favorite customer experience involved a woman with a degenerative spinal disease that not only caused her pain but also prevented her from completing daily tasks around her home. Once fitted with her power chair, the woman was so grateful not only to have greatly reduced pain, but to be able to do the simple things that had previously been grueling and time consuming.

I am a fun-loving, adventurous and well-rounded person. I've lived and traveled extensively in Europe, the Caribbean and Costa Rica. I love the theatre and music, cooking, gardening and spending time with my two active teenagers. My strong work ethic, my commitment to my job and my desire to positively impact as many people as possible keep me motivated. I look forward to meeting you soon.
