Meet Daphne!

Hi, my name is Daphne Shaffer and I am your local Healthcare Relations Consultant for The SCOOTER Store in and around San Antonio and Victoria. I love my job at The SCOOTER Store! I am passionate about helping others and I feel fortunate to be able to work with people who can no longer help themselves. It's such a rewarding experience!

I met a woman who was referred to me by her doctor because she couldn't walk around her home without falling and her doctor was worried she would seriously injure herself. The patient did not like the idea of a power chair but I spent some time with her and knew I could gain her trust and that she would feel safe. I went to the woman's house and visited with her for hours. She finally agreed to test drive the power chair and immediately fell in love with it. Within a few days, her very own power chair arrived. She was overcome with excitement and couldn't wait to use it. She said getting a power chair was more exciting than Christmas! I left her house with a huge smile on my face and still keep up with her today.

My family and friends are important to me and I spend as much time with them as I can. I think it's important to follow your heart and dreams; I followed my heart to The SCOOTER Store and I look forward to working with you! I hope you will call me today!
