Meet Art!

Hello, my name is Art Holtz and I am your local Healthcare Relations Consultant for The SCOOTER Store in and around Ft. Worth. I really have an undying dedication to helping seniors. Maybe it's because I am one! Here's proof: My first car was a 1947 Studebaker, called "the backward car" because you couldn't tell the front from the back. I have worked in healthcare for many years and I wouldn't do anything else. From hospitals, to home health agencies, to hospice, I have done a little bit of everything. This helps me to understand seniors' needs quite well.

One special customer I remember was a 92-year-old woman with severe leg problems that prevented her from walking any distance within her retirement community. When her power chair was delivered, she started participating in group activities and exploring every floor of the facility. Suddenly she was part of a whole new world.

My motto in life is: "The greatest compliment in life is to be remembered. Not necessarily by name, but by who and how I helped others." In my spare time I volunteer with civic organizations that help seniors. I also enjoy gardening whenever I can. I hope you'll call me with your questions. I look forward to meeting you one day soon.
