Meet Mark!

Hello, my name is Mark Winters and I am your local Healthcare Relations Consultant for The SCOOTER Store in and around Johnson City. I joined The SCOOTER Store to help people better their lives. Working as a Healthcare Relations Consultant seemed like the perfect opportunity to do just that! Before I started with The SCOOTER Store, I spent eight years in Military Intelligence with the US Army. I have a genuine love for people and have always desired to make lives better for all, hence my time in the military serving the American people.

My first customer experience at The SCOOTER Store really helped me understand how important mobility is for a person to feel free and independent. My customer had COPD and congestive heart failure and used oxygen 24/7. She had been trapped inside her home for more than six months when she called me in tears to ask for help. What she missed most was being able to go to the market with her husband. I promised her I would do everything in my power to help her. We got a scooter and I delivered it to her home. I am happy to report that she has made up for lost time and has been to the market each weekend since getting her brand new scooter. I am so proud and grateful to have been a part of changing her life for the better.
