Meet Lori!

Hello, I'm Lori Horvath, your local Healthcare Relations Consultant for The SCOOTER Store in and around Harrisburg up to Wilkes-Barre and surrounding areas. I have over 10 years' experience working with seniors to better their lives. My previous positions included senior services and education. Working at The SCOOTER Store is rewarding because I'm working with people one-on-one and with a company that always does the right thing.

On my first home evaluation, I found myself with a 46-year-old woman who has a neurological disease. She told me how she used to race motorcycles and was now stuck in her home forced to rely on her daughter and husband for help. She was paralyzed on one side of her body and had trouble even getting out of a chair. When she got her power chair, she was able to go to the kitchen and all around her home. I not only built a relationship with her but also had the pleasure of watching as she became full of life again.

My life motto is, "Take time to laugh, enjoy the good and learn from the bad." Outside of work, I enjoy boating, gardening, camping, and spending time with my family and friends. My family and I enjoy traveling on cruise ships and visiting Cozumel as often as we can. I also really like black and white photography and carry a camera everywhere! Maybe we can even take a picture together when we meet: you know what they say, a picture is worth 1,000 words, and freedom is priceless!
