Meet Doug!

Hi, I'm Doug Sloan, your local Healthcare Relations Consultant for The SCOOTER Store in and around Oklahoma City. I have more than 20 years of medical equipment experience. I chose to work at The SCOOTER Store because of its good reputation and mission statement that aligned with my own. I love my job because I get to interact and build relationships with my customers and the healthcare community.

One woman lived alone in an apartment and couldn't walk around because she was afraid of falling. She had to wait for her daughter to come take care of her every day. She hated being so dependent. When she received her power chair her face lit up with happiness. She no longer needed anyone to help her to the bathroom and prepare her meals. She said her new found freedom and safety are a blessing.

I enjoy spending as much time as I can with my family and friends. We travel a lot and our favorite place to go is Sante Fe, New Mexico: it's such a unique and diverse culture, not to mention the GREAT food! My life motto is, "Treat all people with ultimate respect, as if they were your own family." I strive to do that for each of my customers.
