Meet Mike!

Hi! I'm Mike Krym, your local Healthcare Relations Consultant for The SCOOTER Store in and around Rochester. Three years ago I jumped at the chance to work for The SCOOTER Store. I have a special knack for making the process of getting a power chair or scooter easy and quick. I think it has to do with my desire to solve problems. I also appreciate seeing the results of my actions whether it's working with a medical office or doing an in-home evaluation.

One customer in particular I recall became disabled at 46 and is now a great grandfather. He had endured 30 surgeries and spent most of his time in a lift chair in his living room. He contacted The SCOOTER Store and we were able to get him a power wheelchair. I realized we had not only given this man his freedom and independence, but we had also given him a huge part of his life back.

I've been lucky enough to travel a lot. I've been to Haiti, Paris (4 times), Germany, Austria, England and Switzerland, and have sailed extensively in the Caribbean.
