Meet Jo!

Hello, I'm Jo Anna Barrath and I'm your local Healthcare Relations Consultant for The SCOOTER Store in and around Philadelphia. I've spent the last four years working in the durable medical equipment industry and absolutely love what I do. The true rewards of my job are visible and tangible: I get to see and experience the monumental impact my work has on improving the lives of those with limited mobility.

I treat each of my customers as if they were members of my own family. It is so gratifying to see the profound impact power mobility can have on a person's life. I once had a customer who got all dressed up and was waiting for us when we arrived, almost as if we were company coming to visit. She was gracious and kind and made me feel very special. Who wouldn't want a job like mine?

When I'm not working, you are likely to find me in the gym. Spinning, lifting weights, yoga, and dancing are just a few of my favorite gym activities. And though I am small in stature, you might be surprised to learn that I was trained as an auto and diesel mechanic!
