Meet Sheri!

Hi, I'm Sheri Winquist, your local Healthcare Relations Consultant for The SCOOTER Store in and around Grand Rapids. I've always been interested in the healthcare field and came to The SCOOTER Store to help people better their lives. My favorite part of my job is building relationships with my customers and watching as their limitations fade into a world of possibilities.

One of my most memorable customers was a 51-year-old woman. She was unable to stand or walk because of severe foot ulcers. She had a manual wheelchair but couldn't propel it herself. Her son was moving out and would no longer be able to help her. She feared being alone and stranded. With her new power chair, she's no longer dependent on others to live her day-to-day life. She's able to get around her home and her property: she lives on a ranch! She's ecstatic to have a piece of her life back. Experiences like that make me truly love what I do!

On the personal side, my life motto is, "Live today like it was your last." I like to make jewelry, bike, and play with my seven grandchildren. I love any snow sport: skiing, snowboarding, and sledding especially! Believe it or not, I learned to snowboard at 50 years old! Please call me today.
