Meet Bobby!

Hello! My name is Bobby Barnes and I am your Healthcare Relations Consultant for The SCOOTER Store in and around the great city of New Orleans. I have worked in the durable medical equipment business for five years and I wanted to bring my experience to a company with a mission like that of The SCOOTER Store: "Provide freedom and independence to people with limited mobility." The bonus is I get to help change people's lives every day!

Sometimes I think we take things like mobility and freedom to move around in our environments for granted. Many people cannot do simple daily tasks like the laundry or cooking because of their mobility limitations. When I see these people's faces light up when they get a power chair and zoom outside to the garden or to the mailbox, my heart sings.

In my spare time, I love to travel to the Caribbean and any place that is hot so I can snorkel, scuba dive and just relax on the beach. I also like to play golf, exercise, run and follow the New Orleans Saints. My motto is, "Live life to the fullest" and I try to adhere to it.
