Meet Sonny!

Hi! I'm Sonny McClanahan, and I'm your local Healthcare Relations Consultant for The SCOOTER Store in and around Lexington. I had 17 years' experience in the power mobility industry when I decided to apply for a job with The SCOOTER Store. I really admired their approach to helping customers regain and maintain their independence. I've always enjoyed helping others and this job has allowed me to make an immediate impact on peoples' lives. Making a difference like this is extremely rewarding.

When I'm not on the job you might find me volunteering with physically challenged sportsmen and women. I help provide hunting and fishing opportunities for these people who might not otherwise be able to enjoy the great outdoors.

My motto in life is to always treat others the way you want to be treated. This, as well as my passion for the customer and what we at The SCOOTER Store can do for them is what drives me. I'm good at building relationships with healthcare providers and sharing this passion with them, which makes it possible to help more people.
