Meet Don!

Hi! I'm Don Johnson and I'm your local Healthcare Relations Consultant for The SCOOTER Store in and around Louisville. Back in 2001 I was attracted to the core ideologies of The SCOOTER Store and its founder, Doug Harrison. I researched the company thoroughly, became enamored with their mission statement and eight years later, I'm still here. I'm glad to be a part of changing so many lives in a positive way. I love our "Guaranteed Freedom Program" that gives us a way to help people get power mobility.

One of my favorite stories is helping a veteran Marine I'll call "Mr. Faithful." He was there when the American flag was raised at Iwo Jima. I got to tell him how much I appreciated his service to our country. He got to enjoy a whole year of freedom before his last day in a hospital, where he whispered in his wife's ear "Semper Fidelis" just before he passed away.

I like to attend church, spend time with family, fish and practice at the firing range. I've enjoyed traveling to Cozumel and the Bahamas. I try to live by the motto, "When it's all said and done how do you want to be remembered?" How may I help you?
