An acquaintance called me because she was interested in getting a power chair for her father. She presented the idea to him and he was very upset and resistant at first. He had to be convinced that a power chair would help him become more independent. Since getting his power chair, his life has changed and his spirits are much lighter! He no longer has to rely on family members to help him with everyday things. It's very rewarding to witness how this gentleman has regained his independence.

In life I think we have to find the positive in every situation. Sometimes it's the difficult situations that teach us the most and make us stronger. I love spending time with my fiancé and our dogs.
