Meet Mark!

Hi, I'm Mark Petras, your local Healthcare Relations Consultant for The SCOOTER Store in and around South Bend. I joined The SCOOTER Store because of their commitment to helping people. I was particularly impressed with their core ideology: "Always Do The Right Thing". I find it unbelievably satisfying to see the expressions on my customers' faces when they realize our product will help them enjoy the pleasures of life again.

I'll never forget when I went to the home of a gentleman who was 90 years old. He was in reasonably good health, except that he couldn't walk or stand for long periods. He had fallen several times and wanted a power chair to prevent future falls and remain self-sufficient. I gathered the necessary information from him and casually asked him what he had planned for the day. He paused, looked at the ground, and ever so slowly raised his head and said "Talk to you." I realized at that moment that this gentleman not only needed a power chair but also a friend. He shared all kinds of stories with me and it was amazing to see him come alive. That day I realized that we change lives not only through power mobility but also through the relationships we build.

Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, hunting, snowmobiling, and running. I have traveled extensively throughout Europe and even lived in England. I'm a diehard Chicago Cubs fan too: Go Cubbies!
