Meet Amy!

Hi! My name is Amy Golembeck and I am your local Healthcare Relations Consultant for The SCOOTER Store in and around Gary. In previous jobs I worked in customer service and had to fight for customers' rights, so working with The SCOOTER Store to help get people power mobility seemed like a perfect fit. I was also very attracted to the Guaranteed Freedom Program™, which I'll be happy to explain to you.

On my first delivery I encountered a customer with triple amputations and a prosthesis. The power chair he originally received did not fit him correctly and he needed additional accessories. We were able to get a chair to accommodate his needs and he was so appreciative that he invited me to come back for a BBQ at his home! I also have a standing lunch date with him whenever I'm in the area. I love my job!

In my off time I collect and refinish antique furniture and restore antique cars. I can do a "ground-up" auto restoration, including the engine. I guess it makes sense that my motto in life is, "Tell me it can't be done; then I will surely finish it quickly!" I am a natural advocate, I love challenges and I'm persistent when I need to be.
