Meet Pete!

Hi! I'm Pete Larson, your local Healthcare Relations Consultant for The SCOOTER Store in and around Omaha. I knew The SCOOTER Store was the perfect place for me when I heard about their mission, philosophy and culture. I've been in the medical field for 25 years, mostly on the clinical instrumentation side. My Healthcare Relations Consultant position lets me work closely with the customers who benefit from our products. Not only am I providing them with equipment, but also with a better quality of life.

I recently completed an in-home evaluation with a gentleman with Down syndrome. He had fallen and suffered a broken leg, and had several other medical conditions that kept him from carrying out his daily activities without constant assistance. His caretaker was concerned about his ability to operate a power chair so I brought one out for a trial. My customer did great! Both he and his caregiver were amazed at how easy it was to operate and his excitement and pleasure at his new freedom and independence was overwhelming.

My wife and I have four daughters, two grown and two in high school. We spend a lot of our spare time with our 14 and 16-year-old girls traveling to soccer games and tournaments. We also watch them play basketball and cross country. Other than that, we enjoy camping, fishing, hiking, and playing with our only (so far) grandchild.
