Meet Scott!

Hi! I'm Scott Akridge, your local Healthcare Relations Consultant for The SCOOTER Store in and around Atlanta. As someone who has always sought opportunities to help others, it was my good fortune to join The SCOOTER Store 10 years ago as its first employee in Georgia. I first opened the Atlanta Distribution Center and then several others on the East Coast, where I personally delivered more than 2,500 power chairs and scooters.

As a Healthcare Relations Consultant, I attribute my success to my ability to communicate honestly and initiate positive relationships with patients and medical professionals. I enjoy managing my territory and improving processes for myself and others, but the best part of my job is the diverse range of people I encounter and the opportunity I have to improve their lives.

Having been raised in a rural community, I value the simplicity of a rural setting while enjoying the opportunities of the big city. My family and I enjoy exploring the local art scene and the many festivals throughout the area. The diversity of the people I've met through my work has piqued my interest and I look forward to more chances to travel and experience the lives of others.
