Meet Jim!

Hello, I'm Jim Rowe, your local Healthcare Relations Consultant for The SCOOTER Store in and around Jacksonville. I joined The SCOOTER Store team because I wanted to use my extensive healthcare experience to help customers better their lives. My favorite part about working here is the direct contact I have with the customers and the relationships I build with them. My motto is, "My job is people, everyone is my business" and I get to live by that every day!

It is so rewarding to see the joy in my customers' faces after they receive their mobility equipment. One woman said if she had a power chair she would be most excited to finally be able to go to the kitchen to get a drink without having to ask her husband to do it for her. She had been dependent on his help for over six years. I was happy to hear how much her chair changed her life for the better.

When I'm not working, I enjoy traveling, boating, riding motorcycles, and reading. I just finished the book "Sick Puppy" by Carl Hiassen. It is set in Florida and I thought it was very interesting.
