Meet Doug!

Hi, I'm Doug Burns and I am your local Healthcare Relations Consultant for The SCOOTER Store in and around Lakeland. Having the ability to change lives is what makes my job worthwhile. I really have a passion for helping people get their mobility back. The fact that I get paid for it is a bonus!

During my first week on the job I delivered a power chair to an elderly woman whose walker was not helping her get around anymore. After she spent a short time learning how to use her chair, she was unstoppable! Her eyes lit up like a Christmas tree.

When I'm not working, you can find me golfing, fishing, working out or just hanging out with my family. I once traveled to Central America, where I experienced a very different culture. In a place where not everyone has food and running water every day, I got a real sense of appreciation for the simple things in life. Please give me a call!
