Meet Chajuan!

Hello! My name is Chajuan (pronounced shah-WAN) Jackson and I am your local Healthcare Relations Consultant for The SCOOTER Store in and around Washington DC. Before I joined The SCOOTER Store I had watched their TV commercials for years. I realized "Hey, I could do this! I could help make a huge difference in people's lives." Now I get to do just that and I love it. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing the smiles on my customers' faces once they get their scooter or power wheelchair.

My favorite part of the job is visiting my customers after they've had their equipment for a while and witnessing the profound change it has made in their lives. They are doing things and going places that were not possible before. Seeing how valuable their newfound independence is to them makes me look forward to going to work every day. They also see that I wasn't just trying to sell them something; I was truly interested in giving them their freedom back.

"Put God first and the rest will follow" is my motto in life and it serves me well. I've also found that not sweating the small stuff makes my life a lot simpler. I like to spend time in fellowship with God. I also spend quality time with my husband and daughter. Here's something you might be surprised to know: I used to dance with the Tina Turner dancers when I was a child! I also love the Riverdance. Call me today and we can chat.
