Meet Rick!

Hi, I'm Rick Jenik and I am your local Healthcare Relations Consultant for The SCOOTER Store in and around Hollywood to Westwood and the San Fernando Valley. I began my career in the medical field more than 20 years ago. I earned a degree in Sports Medicine and realized my passion for the senior population while conducting a research study shortly after college. I feel blessed in this job because meeting the needs of seniors truly is my heart's desire. I love it because I learn something new about life from my customers every day!

One of my most memorable customers was a gentleman who was anxious and demanding. He wasn't very nice at first. I spent three hours showing him, his wife, and family all the details of his chair. I truly believe he just needed someone who would be patient enough to show him a little understanding and compassion. The whole family watched as this man who was usually a bit short and abrasive suddenly became gentle and gracious. He had a huge smile on his face as he went around his house for the first time on his own. That was a joyous day because the family and I celebrated his personal independence day.

My motto in life is to have fun and live every day to its fullest. I did that when I had the chance to work on a movie in Brazil! I love creative arts like writing, acting, and producing. I'm also an avid soccer player: I was an All-American player in college. Ask me about it when we meet!
