Meet Linda!

Hi! I'm Dean Laurenson and I'm your local Healthcare Relations Consultant for The SCOOTER Store in southwest Riverside County and northeast San Diego County. Helping people regain their mobility is an awesome experience and I am honored to be able to do it.

I've had many memorable experiences with my customers, but my first delivery was especially moving. I was delivering a power chair to an older Spanish-speaking couple's home. Though I don't speak Spanish myself, I was able to understand the Mobility Manager conducting the delivery enough to follow along throughout the process. The wife had been confined to a manual wheelchair, unable to propel herself and relying on her husband to push her everywhere. She was so elated about her new power chair that she cried tears of joy. I didn't need to speak the language to understand her emotion. I'll never forget it!

In my time off I enjoy traveling with my wife and four children as much as possible. I also love to tinker with classic cars, which helps me relax and unwind. I believe what makes me successful is my focus on listening and putting others' needs ahead of my own. It's not about me! My motto in life is, "Be willing to fail.
