Meet Karen!

Hi, I'm Karen Avne and I am your local Healthcare Relations Consultant for The SCOOTER Store in and around San Bernardino County. I didn't want to just sell something, I wanted to really make a difference in the lives of others. My job allows me to do just that. Our products really can drastically improve a person's outlook on life. I used to provide Medicare supplemental and advantage plans to seniors and loved working with them, however, this is even more rewarding.

One of my favorite customer stories involves an in-home demo that was requested by a family for their father. They were worried he wouldn't be able to operate a power wheelchair, but he was an expert right from the beginning. He was able to use the restroom on his own for the first time in months. His whole demeanor changed and so did his wife's when she realized he was becoming more independent.

In my opinion, the world would be a better place if we all put others' needs before our own. I think what makes me a successful Healthcare Relations Consultant is my ability to be creative and think outside the box. It enables me to help more people.
