Meet Joe!

Hello! My name is Joe Minney and I am your local Healthcare Relations Consultant for The SCOOTER Store in and around Bakersfield. I wanted to be able to make a positive impact on people's lives. When a position opened up at The SCOOTER Store, I saw it as a great opportunity to do just that. My previous jobs include pharmaceutical, hospice and DME sales. I seem to develop long lasting relationships with people because my customers end up being my friends.

In my time away from work I like hanging out with my family. We travel when we can, but we also really enjoy all the activities that Kern County has to offer. If I could spend a day with anyone, dead or alive, I'd choose Winston Churchill. He had a common sense approach and understanding of the nature of evil in the world and I find that inspiring.

I love to help people understand that power mobility doesn't mean you'll never walk again; in fact it can represent freedom and independence. It can mean staying in your home longer, and more safely. Call me! I'd love to answer your questions.
