Meet David!

Hello, I'm David Vaughan, your local Healthcare Relations Consultant for The SCOOTER Store in and around Phoenix. I joined The SCOOTER Store team because I want to make a positive difference in the lives of people with limited mobility. I have a big heart and compassion for others which is what I think makes me successful at my job. I love God and my fellow man, and I am fortunate enough to be able to live by this commandment every day at work.

Although I have helped many people regain their independence and freedom through power mobility I have one customer I will never forget. This combat-injured veteran had been using the same scooter for six years. His scooter was worn out and too big for him to maneuver through his house: he couldn't get to his office to use his computer. When I arrived at his house he seemed tired and irritable; however, after learning how to use his new power chair his spirits lifted. He went straight to his office and drove the chair up to his desk where his computer sat. The look on his face was priceless!

When I am not working, I like to spend my time writing songs and making music. If I won the lottery I would buy a tour bus and travel the country playing my music and inspiring people. Until then, I hope you'll pick up the phone and call me if you have any questions about power mobility.
