I suspect that my unit became overheated and now will not run. What should I do?

The maximum operating temperature for the power chair motor is 122 degrees F. The scooter motor's maximum temperature is 115-122 degrees F. Once the motor exceeds its safe operating temperature, the mechanism begins reducing power to the motor by five volts for every degree above the safe operating temperature. The unit will run much slower and may even come to a complete stop. Once the unit is allowed to cool off and the sensor mechanism detects a safe operating temperature, your unit will be fully operational again.
