...I think when you're a caregiver... all of the sudden you lose your independence. Because you're...you're kind of on call.? You're there to do everything that she can't do for herself and now I'm enabled to do what I need to do.
I think probably... the biggest thing that the power chair has done for my mom is the independence.
I think one thing that we've notice is that she's gained a little self esteem. I think all of the sudden, now she has gotten a little of this back... A little dignity back.
My activities now are...are so much simpler. I can go ahead and do what I need to do to get my work done.
And I think that this just goes along with ability, dignity, self esteem, and I think that the power chair has brought a lot of those things into her life.

"The power chair is wonderful. It turns on a dime. We're in a home where we've got furniture here and there; we need that radius to be able to turn easily.
