Alliance Seating & Mobility provides customized complex rehab solutions supported with nationwide service and a network of seating specialists with the Assistive Technology Supplier/Assistive Technology Professional (ATS/ATP) certification by the Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America (RESNA). Alliance Seating and Mobility has become one of the largest complex rehab providers in the country.
In 2010, The SCOOTER Store formalized an internal Home Care equipment division to better serve beneficiaries with chronic medical conditions that require additional types of Home Care equipment, supplies and accessories in their homes.
Also in 2010, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) announced the company was selected as one of their legitimate quality suppliers to provide medical equipment and supplies to beneficiaries in Round One of the Medicare competitive bidding program at competitive bidding prices. The company subsequently announced that it accepted contracts to provide multiple products and related services in Round One bidding areas as a "contracted supplier".
In February, 2011, The SCOOTER Store announced a new strategic partnership with an affiliate of Sun Capital Partners for financing to fuel the company's growth and potential acquisitions needed to serve the growing ranks of senior Americans.
